Let me introduce myself, my name is Leonard Vernon and I have been a practicing chiropractor for almost 30 years. During this time I have been a member of or have had access to a great deal of the marketing material that has been or is currently being offered to the chiropractic profession. It was in late June of this year that I finally reached a breaking point. What happened? I was looking through the latest issue of Dynamic Chiropractic and decided to count how many offers were being made to practicing chiropractors, offers that would reveal “THE SECRET” to a bigger, better practice. I counted over 10 offers in the first 26 pages of a 44 page newspaper. It occurred to me, could there be that many “secrets”? I then began to analyze the ads more closely and found that by in large everyone was selling the same secret, just with a different spin. The one basic premise that everyone is selling is how to effectively market a practice.There were other ads for coaching services. I think coaching is a great idea. I think that other chiropractors should be coaches to their colleagues, however where I have a problem is the enormous amount of money being charged on a monthly basis to obtain this coaching. The numbers range from a reasonable $100 a month to $1000 a month or more. Of course if you prepay the fee of “ONLY” $9,800, you can realize A SAVINGS OF $2200, who could resist such an offer?

It was after reading bullshit like this that I decided that NO ONE has the right to rape the profession. These people are taking advantage of the fact that our schools have failed to properly train students in the art of marketing. Somewhere along the line this basic fundamental course, one that was a specialty of BJ has been eliminated from the curriculum. So I decided to take upon myself to reveal the “SECRETS” as I know them, free of charge.

Through this web site it is my goal to have other experienced chiropractors from throughout the country lend a hand and establish a mentoring program. Sharing and imparting your knowledge about what does and doesn’t work with other members of the profession.
